Stewart Rennie is a licensed insolvency trustee based in the Kelowna office. Stewart moved to Kelowna to become the manager of the Kelowna office of Bill McCulloch & Associates Inc. in 1999. He managed that firm until its merger into BDO in 2010.
Stewart received his training as an articling student with an accounting firm in Lethbridge, Alberta, which through merger become Thorne Ernst & Whinney Inc. Stewart has been involved in the administration of insolvent estates for firms in Alberta and British Columbia for over 30 years.
He has experience in all aspects of personal insolvency administration ― his preferred area of practice ― and in the administration of corporate insolvencies. Stewart obtained his Licensed Insolvency Trustee license in 1985 and has since practiced exclusively in insolvency and financial restructuring. He has been a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) since 1984. Stewart is a CPA, CGA having received his CGA designation in Alberta in 1983.
Stewart is married with one adult child. His interests include modern British literature, outdoor activities including swimming and golf, pool, and NFL football.
